DEAR CEU COMMUNITY

We, the members of the list and the organization of KSV-KJÖ, would like to congratulate the student community of CEU for coming out to vote in huge numbers. This year, we have seen a threefold rise in participation rates compared to 2023. Having a competitive process this election has shown that the Student community at CEU is willing to make their voices heard. We want to make sure your voices will continue to be heard. We are deeply appreciative of the faith that you placed in us and our campaign. This would have never been possible without the support of the community at every step. We deeply thank every person who showed up to vote. We would also like to emphasize that this is just the beginning and we will continue to work on this process and continue to keep in mind the discussions of importance for the community. Our primary goal with this campaign was to generate political discussion within the community and highlight the issues that matter to students. We saw this as an integral part of an electoral process and clearly, the results show that the community agrees. As we have stated before, for us political activism and campaigning does not begin or end with elections. This is a continuous process which we will constantly be engaged in and we invite members of the community to join us in any capacity possible. KSV-KJÖ will continue to engage with political activism in CEU. We would also like to say to the candidates of the AIS list that the work you have done is deeply appreciated. We look forward to working together on matters of importance to the community. We believe that our goals converge and together we can do the best for the student community. Last but not the least we want to highlight that we are your representatives, but we need the entire student community to stand by our side when we fight for our rights. Our job as your Board is to represent you, and that is our priority, but we hope we can count on you to bring on change to CEU.
