FOR ART LOVERS:
WIKAM – the Vienna International Art Fair at Palais Ferstel (28 February to 8 March 2026)
For these 9 days in the beginning of March, WIKAM, Austria’s leading art fair will create a platform for collectors, curators and art lovers, offering the portfolio highlights of 26 renowned art experts from Austria and Germany.
Gustave Courbet exhibition (19 February to 21 June)
The Leopold Museum opens the first solo exhibition in Austria of French Artist Gustave Courbet. It includes 87 paintings and 130 exhibits from various periods of his work including early self-portraits and paintings with a focus on social realism and artistic bohemianism.
Waldmüller exhibition ( 27 February to 14 June)
The lower Belvedere opens the Waldmüller exhibit with his beautiful landscape painting of woodland, lakes and mountains from 19th century Europe. It includes 65 works.
FOR MUSIC LOVERS:
Ottakringer Vinyl and Music Festival (7 March to 8 March)
The Ottakringer Vinyl and Music festival is more than just a festival, it is a market, exhibition, festival and so much more. Held in the Ottakringer brewery, the festival has many different artists playing, and you get the chance to explore and buy musical instruments, artwork, vinyl LPs and so much more. It is only further compounded by the bars and street food which accompanies the live acts. From 10am to 8pm on Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday, visit this musical wonderland and immerse yourself in its offerings.
Accordion Festival ( 21 February to 15 March)
The 27th Accordion festival is making a guest appearance in Vienna this month! Join musicians from 6 different countries around Europe as they step into the spotlight under the Vienna sky.

The Stand Party (5 March at 7pm)
Join fellow students at CEU’s The Stand Launch Party. Enjoy wine, a talkative atmosphere and read about the free word at Kunsttankstelle Ottakring, Grundsteingasse 46.
Kunstschatzi – R-E-S-P-E-C-T (3 March at 7:30pm)
The Kuntshistoriches Museum of Vienna creates an evening to celebrate the heroes of art history in honor of Women’s History Month. Join 30 minute guided tours and then grab a drink and relax with the DJs of RADIO RUDINA.
